Overall:

  • As a Commercial Finance Analyst, the role will be to support in offering actionable insights that influence decision making and impact the strategic direction of the business in line with our vision
  • Finance vision: Build a world class Finance organization that enables Baxter to execute and achieve its strategic and financial objectives

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • With a focus on Decision Support activities, the Commercial Finance Analyst - HST will be supporting sales managers and Finance leaders in preparing exploratory and predictive analytics and providing business analysis to support strategic decisions across the Clusters in Western Europe
  • Assisting in tenders/deal profitability analysis and liaising with our Sales, Marketing, Contracts / Tenders and operational teams to update, maintain price frameworks and price lists and further develop / improve price/margin/quotation tools.
  • Working together with Sales and Operations to support weekly sales forecast cycles
  • Assisting the FP&A and business teams with input for the Baxter Forecast and Budget
  • Providing monthly analysis on Sales, SGP and OPEX utilizing PowerBI reports
  • Supporting and analyzing ad-hoc business projects
  • Member of the EMEA Commercial Finance Partner team driving improvements, best practices and harmonization across our team as well as participating in European projects when required

Other duties may be assigned - Environment and Energy

  • Knowing the impacts of his/her activities or behavior on safety, the environment and energy performance
  • Complying with the rules established in terms of safety, environmental protection and reduction of energy consumption and knowing the repercussions of non-compliance with these rules
  • Taking responsibility for his/her own contribution to the achievement of safety, environmental and energy performance objectives
  • Immediately reporting risks and risk behaviors that may have an impact on safety, environment and energy performance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Qualified Accountant – Chartered or Management Accountant

Experience

Number of years of experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in broad financial roles with multi-national companies, ideally in Business Partnership capacity

Field of expertise: Finance, Accounting, Finance Business Partnering
