Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and follow-up of the strategic and operational direction for Sales as well as for Marketing within an assigned area in order to reach the set targets and profit growth and become a partner of choice leveraging Baxter’s unique capabilities.

  • responsible for a Sales team turnover based on the current budget.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the given business in line with the cluster and country objectives.

  • Responsible for the achievement of the defined revenue and profit targets.

  • Control of relevant budgets.

  • Full responsibility of the Business’ profit & loss.

  • Identify future growth opportunities.

  • Provide market insides and co-develop Marketing and Med- edu Activities for dedicated Business Unit in close collaboration with Product Manager and Medical Director.

  • Collaborate with other functional leads within the assigned area.

  • Analysis of the results, the market, the competition and the profitability of the Business Unit while preparing the launch of new products & marketing actions in line with the set objectives.

  • Allocation of means and resources (human, financial, time, materials, …) in function of the forecasts and provisions and the Global, European and Country strategy.

  • Lead and manage a strong Sales team (including sales and clinical specialists) and ensure that operational excellence is achieved in a dynamic international business environment.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities for team members.

  • Manage human resources in the organization (recruitment, evaluation, development, retention).

  • Develop and sustain outstanding customer relations, including relations with key opinion leaders, local health care systems, third party payers and key decision makers.

  • Involved in negotiations with key opinion leaders and ensure market and customer monitoring.

  • Liaise with the cluster teams within the business segment and participate actively in the implementation of Global strategies and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.

  • Elaborate and manage the budget of the area responsible for.

  • Participate in the tender management together with Tender Team.

  • Support separation process for Kidney Care Business Unit in Poland as per corporate timeline.

  • Further relevant responsibilities/ tasks as advised from time to time by your Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members and team.

  • In-depth knowledge of Polish healthcare market.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the results-driven mindset.

  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.

  • Flexible approach to accept and drive changes.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Science, Commercial, Medical, …).

  • At least 5 years operational Sales management experience in a healthcare industry.

  • English language proficiency is required.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office environment.

  • Driving license cat B.
