ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees system development, analysis and reporting to manage Global Labeling Operations systems, databases, processes, and resources.
  • Ensures availability and data integrity within Global Labeling Systems.
  • Manages design, development and maintains reporting mechanisms for stakeholders and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Serves as Business Process Owner for labeling specific applications and systems.
  • Interfaces with Global IT to communicate user requirements and manage user testing and training for solutions.
  • Manages, reviews and approves development and delivery of training to Global Labeling Operations on labeling specific systems and applications.
  • Manages structure and permission of department SharePoint and Labeling Innovations Teams sites
  • Evaluates existing or proposed systems, structure, and user access to databases.
  • Presents recommendations for labeling solutions including definition of the physical structure and functional capabilities of databases and required data security, backup, and recovery specifications.
  • Interacts with stakeholders, internally and externally including any suppliers regarding the development, implementation and maintenance of systems.
  • Stay up to date with emerging systems, industry trends and best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven strong project/program management skills working with cross functional teams. PMP or PM certification or degree a plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Strong analytical and information gathering skills.  Six Sigma Black Belt a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English.
  • Experience soliciting requirements from management, evaluating functional specifications, managing development and execution of testing required to deploy applications and systems.
  • Experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical labeling processes and systems is a plus.

EDUCATION - Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field, including IT, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, preferred and 7+ years experience in systems/database business process management and improvement or related field, 5+ years project management, process improvement, and/or staff management experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in non-related field and 10+ years experience in systems/database business process improvement and process management or related field. 5+ years project management leading global cross functional teams and/or staff management experience
