The Role:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Look no further! We are seeking a Quality and Regulatory Specialist to join our exceptional ANZ QARA team in this 12-month fixed term role.

Reporting to the Senior QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless quality compliance of our products. Your exceptional attention to detail and expertise will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain quality strategies. You will join a team responsible for quality oversight of Baxter Warehouse and Distribution activities across ANZ, working with internal warehouses and external 3PL suppliers.  Continuously identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that all processes are in strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your proven ability to successfully implement quality initiatives will contribute to our ongoing commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance in quality related activities to monitor recurring trends and implement continuous improvement to warehouse/distribution processes

  • Support the deviation programs associated with Quality Assurance issues in Warehouse/Distribution, provide technical guidance to ensure investigation & CAPA analysis are completed on time

  • Monitor and Process Product Temperature Transport releases and facilitate and/or Implement product holds

  • Ensure warehouse/distribution suppliers are qualified to meet supplier quality requirements, including maintaining quality agreements, distribution agreements and distributor agreements

  • Coordinate warehouse/distribution Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) from logging to closure. This includes coordinating any root cause investigations with the supplier and ensuring that relevant stakeholders are involved

  • Perform supplier quality audits as required

  • Support the ANZ Warehouse sites to ensure all licenses are maintained current and correct

  • Ensure change to systems and process is documented and reviewed appropriately to ensure maintenance of compliance to Quality standards and GMP (implementing via Change Controls where required)

  • Organise and participate in cross functional teams as necessary to progress projects

  • Involvement in Internal Audit as per schedule as required

  • Investigation of JDE system issues and errors interrupting QA business practices.

  • Assist Warehouse with oversight of calibration system requirements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Previous experience with warehouse/distribution quality assurance is desirable

  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and decision-making skills for investigating issues and analysing trends.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-energy and time-sensitive work setting

  • Ability to work autonomously with a remote manager.
