Summary

The Therapy Specialist is responsible for training and promotion of products and continuous depurative therapies to clinical stakeholders of haemodialysis and intensive therapies units (such as general intensive care, cardiac anesthesia, pediatric intensive care, etc), and coordinating with the sales team.

The Therapy Specialist will have a strategic role from a therapeutic perspective and will have an important role for the reputation of the company, with the responsibility to properly manage devices for extracorporeal purification (such as CRRT,  plasmapheresis, C02 removal, etc.).

The Therapy Specialist will perform his job over local territory, through a fine tune with commercial business objectives and to the guidelines provided by commercial leads of the same area, with the supervision of the competent Sales Manager.

The Therapy Specialist will manage the activities mainly across the following regions Veneto, Friuli V.G., Trentino, Emilia Romagna, Marche, but they will support the team on a national basis, when required.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the activities related to educational, technical and clinical support in intensive care unit and dialysis centres and provide information on how to use products or services properly for the Acute Business line
  • Organize and deliver trainings for medical, clinical and technical staff on how to use devices and dialysis therapies properly
  • Plan and support training sessions and workshops for customers with MKT, Sales Manager and Medical area
  • Manage training material and questionairres in order to assess efficiency of training activities
  • Provide technological updates (hw and sw) of medical devices to hospital staff
  • Support clinical and medical staff by phone or digital tools
  • Monitor competitors’ strategies, in order to update marketing and sales team
  • Report daily activities through internal Baxter’s systems

What you will bring

  • A scientific degree or relevant equivalent experience is desirable
  • Experience in dialysis therapies and devices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle debating situations ensuring good performance also in complex organizations (eg. different units of the same hospital, with different target...)
  • Ability to run more projects simultaneously  
  • Goal-oriented approach, to achieve productivity and sales objectives, in coordination and with active support vs sales team and Sales Manager
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good knowledge of MS apps and technological HW/SW tools
