Your role at Baxter

The Channel Operations Sr. Analyst in the Commercial Operations Department is responsible for acting as a key liaison between Baxter and wholesalers/distributors who distribute products to end customers. This position ensures distributors have the correct purchase pricing (DAC/WAC), accurate Baxter contract pricing for the customers they service, and timely and accurate chargeback credits, credit/rebills, settlements and related operational activities.

This role will provide senior-level analytical and operational support for day-to-day Channel Operations while also supporting the migration to Model N and the stabilization of the new system. Responsibilities include supporting UAT, data validation, issue tracking, defect resolution follow-up, process transition, documentation updates, hypercare and post-go-live stabilization. The Sr. Analyst is expected to partner with cross-functional teams, identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and help ensure business continuity during the migration and stabilization period.

This person will have important interactions with cross-functional groups and will impact financial, operational and customer-facing processes. The Sr. Analyst will perform and drive analysis, support decisions for processes under scope, serve as a main contact for analysts and stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements, efficiencies and adoption of Model N.

What you will do

  • Ensure the correct DAC/WAC and contract pricing is connected to distributors and aligned to operational requirements.

  • Act as a liaison between Baxter, wholesalers/distributors, the Costa Rica Channel Operations team, trade team, pricing, sales and other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Manage and analyze Accounts Receivable between Baxter and trading partners, ensuring the A/R ledger is accurate and up to date, and that credit/rebills and/or write-offs are completed once analysis is finalized.

  • Analyze and send discrepancy reports, resubmissions, unit trending, agreement maintenance, settlements and other distributor/wholesaler deliverables.

  • Work with field teams to ensure missing traces are resolved in a timely manner and engage management to resolve issues related to assigned wholesalers or distributors.

  • Reconcile and troubleshoot credit/rebills and/or write-offs resulting from Accounts Receivable analysis.

  • Serve as senior SME for Model N migration and stabilization activities, including planning support, UAT execution, data validation, defect and issue tracking, go-live readiness, hypercare and post-go-live stabilization.

  • Partner with IT, Sales, Pricing, Trade, Contracts and Channel Operations leadership to validate Model N outputs, identify process gaps, escalate migration risks and support timely resolution of issues.

  • Support the transition of processes from AS400/JDE or legacy workflows to Model N, ensuring documentation, controls and operational handoffs are updated and clearly communicated.

  • Create, update and maintain SOPs, job aids, training materials and process documentation, including changes required by the Model N migration.

  • Provide guidance and support to analysts on operational exceptions, debit memo monitoring, error reports, missing traces, credit/rebill analysis and escalation items.

  • Keep open written and verbal communication with team members, leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.

  • Support as backup for other team activities based on previous training plans and business needs.

  • Analyze, research, make recommendations and implement solutions for business issues and opportunities together with the Supervisor and Manager.

  • Support ad-hoc reporting, business requests and special projects.

  • Monitor metrics closely to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.

  • Support Supervisor on debit memo monitoring during the month and with escalation issues within the team, as needed.

  • Run and monitor daily error reports, providing support and follow-up to the team.

What you will bring

  • Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Operations, Finance Operations, Contract Operations, Pricing, Chargebacks, Accounts Receivable or related operational processes.

  • Required hands-on experience using Model N, including the ability to navigate the system, validate data, research issues and support operational issue resolution.

  • Experience supporting system migrations, UAT, hypercare, post-go-live stabilization, process transition or data validation activities is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstration of key finance, analytical and operational competencies.

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish. B2 English level required.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.

  • Experience with AS400, JDE Oracle or other ERP/legacy systems is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership and cross-functional partners.

  • Customer focus and ability to provide timely, accurate support.

  • Collaboration, teamwork and ability to guide or support analysts as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
