This position will report to Senior Manager (Finance Reporting and Analyst) and will work closely with the team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Advanced Analytics team. This position will be responsible for the seamless and efficient delivery of reporting and analytics offerings and support the establishment of meaningful standard global reports to increase efficiency and deliver actionable insights to the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will work with business leaders, their teams, and their various stakeholders to help discover, deliver, monitor, and enhance various reporting and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter who is comfortable working within a cross functional environment, supporting multiple stakeholders and initiatives. You will have a true hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, including the ability to gain true insights from data, and be an effective communicator. Business acumen is a must have and will be most required for this position.

  • Responsible for end-to-end service delivery including design, build and maintain automated reports and dashboards leading to self-service analytics and/or improved business decisions.

  • Manage the delivery of comprehensive management reporting packages for all financial statements, including preparation of accounting processes KPI’s for GBS Finance & FP&A.

  • Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, estimation, synthesis, and dashboard modeling.

  • Lead a team of 1-2 analysts regarding daily activities, career development and long-term goals.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable navigating conflicting priorities and ambiguous problems.

  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement financial dashboards, models and monitor outcomes.

  • Should have the ability to understand and analyze data for the purpose of identifying trends and providing insights to the various stakeholders to unlock potential value for business.

  • Evaluate and drive continuous improvements/ innovation in reporting/ advanced analytics

  • Continuously focus on building competency in new/future technologies and solutions pertaining to data, reporting and analytics

  • Develop strong functional knowledge and business stakeholder relationship

  • Liaise with Reporting & Analytics and Global/ Regional FP&A organization to develop develop standard set of tools that meet business’ needs and help imporve data quality and assoicated governance

  • Liaise with the SMEs and Advanced Analytics team to support the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality / control requirements.

  • Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed

  • Guarantee global standard and alignment in all reports, processes, and communication.

Key Competencies:

  • Expertise in data visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI and/ or Tableau or/and Alteryx, etc, how to optimize performance and customer experience. Certification on PowerBI/ Tableau/Alteryx is added advantage

  • Advanced & relevant experience in Business Intelligence techniques (ETL development, data modelling, data mining, data warehousing & data visualization & reporting) with relevant domain experience in finance

  • A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Cloud Data Warehouse/Snowflake/AWS S3.

  • Translate requirements for BI and Reporting to Database design and reporting design
    Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done

  • Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline

  • Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages (Python, PySpark, Lambda function, Scala, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets

  • Experience in AWS services like AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift & QuickSight, is a plus

  • Excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis, and reporting

  • Expert with advanced excel formulas and experience with Excel VBA

  • Excellent financial modelling skills preferred, experience in statistical modelling techniques is a plus

  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx preferred

  • Support finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and / or strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies)

  • Perform financial management reporting to help track business performance to facilitate decision making and business support

  • Digitally savvy, able to navigate easily in a virtual world

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility is required to work in global time zones, hybrid model  

  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required

  • English: Native or bilingual proficiency required

  • Professional proficiency in other languages a plus

Qualification/Experiences:

  • 8+ years of overall experience working with a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline.

  • Strong business acumen in corporate functions (such as finance/ FP&A, procurement, human resource & technology) and/ or integrated supply chain (manufacturing, R&D, etc.) is preferred  

  • 6+ years of relevant experience working with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx (ETL development, data modeling, data mining, data warehousing & data visualization & reporting).

  • Certifications in Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx/AWS Services/Agile is preferred
