Your role at Baxter:

As a Recruiter at Baxter, you are responsible for delivery of excellence throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle in individual assignments and larger scale recruitment projects. You will take a lead role in helping drive quality outcomes through collaborating closely with decision makers, other members of Talent Acquisition and your HR Business Partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of hiring projects.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead recruiting activities through to successful hire with a strong focus on direct, candidate identification and sourcing of talent
• Responsible for collaborating with Hiring Managers to build impactful advertising, driving engagement across social media, talent identification and headhunting and proactive solicitation of referrals
• Proactively provide relevant, market intelligence and recruiting insights to Hiring Managers and HR, demonstrating your value as a trusted advisor
• Deliver an engaging candidate experience by uncovering and understanding factors that influence talent, knowing their motivators and adjusting your approach to handle a variety of situations
• Effectively challenging and influencing stakeholders to drive successful and productive activities around screening, slate presentation, interviewing and hiring decisions
• Accurately representing Baxter’s total compensation philosophy when handling offer negotiations
• Coach candidates on how to prepare for selection stages and provide feedback in a timely manner in accordance with local legislation and recruitment standard methodologies
• Accountable for accurately leading and updating requisitions through to completion including responsibility for ensuring real time system updates
• Identify and raise risk or compliance issues
• Collaborate with the business to understand critical and repeatable roles to advise talent pipelining strategy
• Proactively maintain and enhance your knowledge of Baxter to ensure you are continuously evolving your business understanding and knowledge
• Assess and analyze recruitment activity of your business areas to support relevant conversation around volumes, performance and forecasting
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

What you'll bring:

• Minimum HS or GED required
• 1+ years of experience in an agency or corporate recruiting or HR role
• Familiarity of end-to-end recruitment process and ability to successfully conduct a recruitment strategy meeting. 
• Experience partnering with the business to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipelining, and developing requisitions.
• Introductory knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and to ensure data accuracy, proper candidate stage tracking, and timely communication throughout the recruitment journey.
• Confident in Sourcing for multiple searches and supporting several hiring managers simultaneously.
• An understanding of the importance of a positive candidate experience, with emphasis on timely updates, transparent feedback and consistent process. 
• A willingness to learn and promote Baxter brand by learning employer brand initiatives and serving as an ambassador for Baxter to expand our presence through social media and other channels.
• Basic knowledge of compensation structure and philosophy (benefits, bonuses, etc.) and able to communicate package to stakeholders and candidates.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 - $93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
