Your Role at Baxter
Directly supporting the UCAN Logistics Network with associated key functions in the identification and implementation on continuous improvements, that generate Margin Improvement Projects (MIPs), and will lead the Baxter Operating System for UCAN fulfillment. Will manage, coach and mentor site leadership in executing projects that drive elimination of waste, increase efficiency and productivity while driving quality improvements. Projects will align and support the UCAN network to achieve designated targets and drive sustainable long-term benefits.


What you'll be doing

  • Identify, initiate, and facilitate continuous improvements, lean activities and initiatives, such as 6s, Kaizen and visual management.

  • Lead and implement Strategic Planning & Deployment processes to define priorities and align with business measures. Demonstrate expertise in Continuous Improvement Methodologies, such as Lean/Six Sigma, with knowledge and usage of statistical applications.

  • Own and manage multi-site implementation of Baxter Operating System (BOS).

  • Manage Margin Improvement Processes (MIPs) for each site within the network.

  • Lead, coach and participate in activities promoting improved end-to-end process design and delivery of regional/site metrics and KPIs.

  • Assess processes and provide constructive feedback to strengthen competencies and promote systems level thinking.

  • Identify and collaborate with cross functional teams within the value stream while influencing without authority.

  • Own and implement standardization of processes and continuous improvement of training materials.

  • Ensure products are provided to customers on time so that product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies are met.

  • Responsible for assuring compliances to all regulatory requirements.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, preferred.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience Warehousing/Supply Chain Operations, required.

  • 3+ years Industrial Engineering experience, required.

  • Green or Black Belt Certification, preferred.

  • Ability to travel to UCAN network sites, 35% at minimum.

  • Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills…

  • Ability to collect and analyze data to assess paths for process improvements and potential root cause.

  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use enterprise

  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written along with proven ability implement change.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, understand GMPs, lead audit-related activities, analyze and interpret scientific/statistical data, manage a number of ongoing issues, meet deadlines, and communicate with senior management.

  • In-depth process knowledge, relative to warehousing equipment/processes and/or operations pro

  • Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills.

  • Proven track record of interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $165,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a long-term incentive .
