Cleveland’s technology and automation are innovative. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility has a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, and device assembly.

What you'll be doing

  • Must perform tests and document results.

  • Must perform product sampling.

  • Must perform functional testing of product.

  • Must be familiar with and follow all specifications, SOPs, and forms that pertain to the above area.

  • Must perform department audits as required.

  • Must assist with the running of protocols.

  • Must perform departmental audits as required.

  • Candidates must meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity Procedure CL-01-01-037. 

  • Should candidate not meet visual acuity requirements upon acceptance of the position, candidate will be required to obtain corrective vision within 90 calendar days.  If this requirement cannot be met, the candidate is not eligible for the position.

  • Must have completed the Work Keys position requirements for this job.  Contact the Plant Training Coordinator for details on Work Keys and the requirements for this position.

  • Must perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.

  • Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety regulations and follow said regulations accordingly.

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma minimum requirement.

  • Associate’s degree in a related subject area or equivalent work experience plus 1 year related experience

  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.

  • Ability to climb on ladders

  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required

  • Candidates must meet visual acuity requirements as documented in Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.

  • Ability to work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)

  • Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds

  • Ability to reach above shoulder

  • Ability to bend/stoop

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Effective oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to communicate with different levels within the organization

  • Mathematical proficiency

  • Knowledge of measurement methods

  • Perform correct sampling techniques (i.e., torque, chemical, etc.)

  • Attention to details

  • Perform SPC techniques

  • Work with computer systems

  • Must be able to use weight scales

  • Ability to react quickly and efficiently to non-standard conditions on line.

  • Ability to assist in protocol evaluation performed in particular area or responsibility.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
