Your role at Baxter

The Senior Network Planner is responsible for balancing and optimizing supply planning to meet demand. The Senior Network Planner serves as the link between the Commercial team and S&OP by collaborating with Demand Planning, plant leadership, and business units. This includes defining and implementing supply planning processes, determining priorities, including creation of MRP for sourcing of materials, DRP, MPS, driving process improvements, and leading global supply review.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage production and replenishment needs for a worldwide supply plan addressing financial, operational, and service goals.

  • Ownership and generation of the MPS, MRP, and DRP for the global portfolio. Maintains global planning parameters in the planning system (lead times, safety stock, MOQ, QA releases, etc.). Critical plants or multiple third-party suppliers will be managed.

  • Undertakes advanced analytics and drives process improvements (CIPs) for a complex product portfolio.

  • Ensures achievement of critical metrics in inventory level, cash flow, service level, backorder, discard, and Supply Chain expenses.

  • Is responsible for the communication strategy to the commercial team and Market Planners for low coverage supply issues and back-order risks. Leads commercial meetings to review pipelines and manage global fulfillment. Makes recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand. Reports supply risks through the SIOP process.

  • Manages inventory strategy for the portfolio using the Inventory Optimization tool to optimize targets globally.

  • Manages new product launches, product conversions, end-of-life products, and applicable change controls impacting Supply Chain Planning for the portfolio.

  • Completes monthly reserve proposals, identifies and communicates opportunities for discard avoidance, and follows through on the opportunities to ensure they are completed.

  • Assists the Network Manager in enhancing performance by focusing on improving service targets and global inventory levels.

What you'll bring

  • Professional in Engineering or Administrative careers

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Demand Planning

  • Proven ability to skillfully supervise and successfully implement critical initiatives in a global supply chain environment

  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flawless attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate and compete within a diverse team to achieve world-class results

  • Advanced English level

  • Reside in Cali or Bogotá
