Job Summary

Baxter has long been on the forefront of developing innovative solutions for patients with kidney disease.  This position offers a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and support of Baxter’s Cloud based software that is related to our connected medicine strategy.  The Cloud based software will support connectivity of medical devices (Internet-of-Things “IoT”) and mobile devices in the home and in clinics.  The Cloud based software will support management of medical treatments at home/clinics and also enable management of the supply chain related to various medical treatments.  The Cloud based software will also have an analytics component that will enable improved clinical outcomes and enable Baxter to develop better strategy based on deep insights.

You will be responsible for the developing solutions to drive product development for new and existing components of the Renal Connectivity portfolio. The successful candidate will possess solid “hands-on” technical abilities, demonstrate excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Rigor and passion to drive the test automation culture within organization
  • Experience with a variety of types of testing, including regression, performance, stress, unit, integration, and security testing
  • Technical expertise in automate UI UX workflow using squish.
  • Hand’s on experience in Robot Framework, Python and Squish technologies.
  • Well versed with Bug tracking tool JIRA, JIRA workflow and should be able to create the statistics from database.
  • Working experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline methodology
  • Participating in design and architectural discussions
  • Lead agile team of software test engineers focused on the Software Development Life Cycle of our applications, ensuring high engagement and ownership in delivery.

Qualification

  • Minimum 3+ year of Automation or development background
  • Hand’s on experience of developing automation framework and scale across different product.
  • Expertise on Robot Framework & Python as core competence.
  • Understanding of  Squish Library apis
  • Hand’s on experience in Linux environment &  shell scripting.
  • Hand’s on experience on Version control Git
  • Understanding of verification process/ product life cycle through  some test  software eg: ALM tool,
  • Assimilate the requirements from a software repository , eg:  DOORS
  • Hands on experience on developing unit level and functional level software automation test scripts

Good To Have

  • Automate / Develop DevOps POC using  Rest API’s exposed by software, eg: Confluence , JIRA, Jenkins
  • Ability to write a web based application using Python.eg:   flask. Using this skill to create dashboards , that maybe needed to represent data
  • Ability to serialize/transform  data from one form to another so that any  application(s) to consume  eg:  JSON, XML libraries in python
  • Understanding of a db , and all the apis around it to retrieve data . eg: MySQL
  • Ability to create data sets from a data base and extract relevant information using Python NumPy library.
  • Knowledge of medical device software development is highly preferred including knowledge of standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971
