Your role at Baxter:

Lead the quality digital transformation initiatives along with strategy and program/portfolio management. Responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the digital applications and solutions throughout the transformation process. This role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies in the context of digital technologies.

What you’ll be doing

We lead the quality assurance strategy for digital transformation projects, including implementation of new technologies, Artificial Intelligence and process improvements.

We collaborate with multi-functional teams, including IT, product & operations management, engineering, and business customers, to define quality objectives and requirements.

We partner on any external engagement with local agencies including participating in conferences and other events to represent the quality organization and or segment.

We build and put into action quality assurance processes, standards, and guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

We participate as a member of leadership collaborate on appropriate programs and projects to ensure alignment with broader segment portfolio.

We establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure appropriate data is available to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance efforts and track progress towards digital transformation goals.

We conduct assessments and identify potential areas for improvement in digital systems, processes, and workflows and partner with IT as needed based upon the system architecture.

We manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive continuous improvement.

We stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance and digital transformation.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science (B.S.) –, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • At least (5-7) years of experience in Quality areas, with at least 3 years in a Change Driver role.
  • Fully bilingual, English & Spanish
  • Supervisor experience (preferred)
  • Experience Leading Front/Back Rooms during audit process.
  • Experience in validation processes, manufacturing process & Supplier activities of medical devices and implementation of projects.
  • Experience in project management
