The individual will be a core team member of UK, Ireland and Nordic Healthcare Systems and Technologies Team . Ultimately managing the tactical and operational daily activities of the OR sales team and driving the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the attainment of focused objectives and targets.

You will be responsible for leading our OR sales team to achieve sustainable sales growth with existing customers and generate new business in line with agreed business and personal objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement annual sales plans, goals and objectives for the sales team

  • Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to the team to achieve sales targets

  • Hire, train/develop and retain top talent to ensure team success

  • Analyse sales data, market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth

  • Lead and manage the account planning process for individual Account Managers aligned to the strategic marketing plan

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunities

  • Collaborate with marketing, tech services, therapy partners, finance etc. to align sales strategies with company objectives

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs and provide coaching & feedback

  • Monitor sales activity and pipeline, forecast sales revenue and report regularly on sales performance to senior management

  • Develop and negotiate contracts/agreements with clients

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive position

  • Act as change agent through the organization to instil agility and ability to re-invent the way we operate internally and externally.

What we need from you:

  • At least 5 years as a leader in the Medtech industry, whereof minimum 3 years in sales mgmt.

  • Strong communication /change management skills, based on transparent and inclusive values.

  • Track record of leading transformation and growth

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity to quickly adapt to change.

  • Passionate about building new business opportunities.

  • Strong planning skills with a structured work pattern.

  • Result driven, accountable and a growth mindset.

  • Resilient and positivity; responds well to setbacks and shows leadership by proactively encouraging and motivating peers.

  • A high interest in leadership development, high self-awareness and seeks to improve.

  • Team focused; values various skills, styles and contributions of others and actively asks for feedback.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in commercial excellence, tender/contract management, pricing strategy. Proficient in CRM and BI tools

  • Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization, engaging and influencing sales team and functional partners.

  • Ability to travel needed (50%)
