We have an exciting opportunity to join Baxter Compounding as a EMEA Quality Systems Senior Manager. Reporting to the Director, Quality – EMEA Compounding, Pharma, this role is responsible for leading the  implementation, monitoring the execution and promoting continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) at EMEA Compounding sites in accordance with Baxter and local Regulatory requirements to ensure the provision of safe and effective compounded products. You will also be responsible for coordinating Global initiatives pertaining to the QMS across Global Compounding sites, in accordance with Business objectives and strategy.

This position can be based in UK (Thetford, Oxford, Croydon or Stockport), France or Italy.

There will be travel required In this role UK based, Ireland, Italy and France to ensure you have a presence in the other compounding sites. This will make up around 25% of your role.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Provide technical expertise and support to Baxter’s aseptic compounding sites in EMEA to ensure robust, effective, and compliant quality systems are implemented and maintained. 
  • Drive harmonization and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System through the development and implementation of global QMS strategy/policy.
  • Facilitate communication and information-sharing on QMS elements, including collaboration with sites and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and mitigate (proactively) compliance risks.
  • Periodically review the suitability and effectiveness of the quality system with executive management.
  • Participate in internal, corporate, and regulatory inspections as required, including preparation, hosting, and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Represent EMEA/Global Compounding at Baxter QMS forums.
  • Support all aspects of the Global Compounding business strategy and objectives. 

What experience are we looking for?

  • Strong Leadership and Management skills
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills along with the ability to make decisions, solve problems and think critically
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Well-developed verbal, written, numeric and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Lead roles in Pharma, with specific exposure to sterile aseptic manufacturing
