What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of materials science extrusion lab.

• Conduct compounding, monolayer film and tubing extrusion and multilayer co-extrusion of film and tubing.

• Responsible for execution of protocols and extrusion requests to assigned projects communicating processing preliminary results as necessary.

• Develop and maintain controlled quality documentation of experiments performed in the lab.

• Perform troubleshooting and calibration of extrusion equipment.

• Responsible for setup, acquisition and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.

• Train other lab personnel on equipment, processes and procedures as needed.

• Manage and maintains resins inventory.

• Watcher and keeper of state of art processing technologies.

What you'll bring:

• High school diploma with 7+ years of experience or Associate's Degree with 5+ years.

• Experience in pvc and non pvc compounding, pelletizing , monolayer and multilayer film and tubing extrusion.  

• Must understand the basics of polymer processing.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 to $93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
