As a Senior Manager, Strategic Solutions, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients drives your confidence!

You will be working as a highly skilled, cross-functional, individual contributor calling on an identified list of IDN’s focused on the entire continuum of care in the Mid Atlantic region to drive revenue on the Welch Allyn branded product portfolio while reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Accounts.

To support this region, you are located in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida. You enjoy travel up to 50% of the time as well as being able to lead and influence others without a direct reporting structure.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive overall revenue attainment goal: lead, develop and implement sales strategies that deliver comprehensive solutions to assigned customers that protect, grow, acquire, and improve performance.
  • Develop business plans and strategic relationships with external customers and channel partners. Act as the internal liaison to the Baxter Enterprise and National Accounts teams.
  • Responsible for influencing and cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders at all levels within the assigned customer base.
  • Navigate large, sophisticated customers and their processes. This will require multiple customer strategies and variants.
  • Represent legacy Welch Allyn product portfolio as face/lead to customers and own key customer relationships. This role will interact with end users across the board, including Director/ Vice President of Procurement (Supply Chain) Ambulatory Care (a.k.a. Physician Services Group or Primary Care Group or Medical Group), Clinical Operations, Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, Facilities, Project Management, and Information Technology (IT).
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally with internal partners such as sales, finance, marketing, and legal.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum a minimum of five years of corporate or strategic account work within the medical device field.
  • Intimate knowledge of healthcare industry and trends including direct experience with specialty healthcare providers and partners, C-suite executives, and large healthcare organizations.
  • Strong communication skills, a professional presence and credibility, flexibility, and the ability to listen and learn the business and needs of the customer.
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, while being intrinsically motivated.
  • Knowledge of medical organization structures including GPO, IDNs, RPCs, and physician offices.
  • Experience with C-Suite sales and strategic accounts with an understanding of dealer and distribution channel networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and CRM, preferably Salesforce.com.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.  At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.  To that end, this position has a base salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position.  The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
