R&D Department Coordinator – Operations

Duties and Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):
- Searching for quotations associated with particular projects
- Co-ordination of suppliers’ visits and/or installation/repair works
- Planning and scheduling of works
- Interface to various other Baxter departments, on behalf of RD mainly:Finance, PSM, Logistics, Information Services (IT) and/or Facilities - Engineering
- Support the financial processes of the Operations department, mainly: (a) Manage CapEx (capital expenditure) spending as necessary (b) Provide monthly spent reporting (c) Manage Purchase Order and Invoice Processes
- Documentation of health and safety risk assessments as needed.
- Co-ordination of packages sent/received via courier, on behalf of the Malta team
- Handle facilities related issues with the Engineering department and respective reports
- Handle the upkeep of booking systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools.
- Able to communicate in English and interact with multi-functional project team members.
- 3 Strong Interpersonal and communication skills to deal with managers, peers, customers, and suppliers.
Skills considered as assets:
- Possess strong working knowledge of database management systems for data analysis and reporting related to procurement activities and other activities in the R&D facility.
- Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve common technical issues, minimizing IT support dependence.
Education and/or experience
- A Level Standard of Education or Higher Technician Diploma. Either or
- 2. 3 years’ experience in a project management role.
