We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Baxter Lessines, who is proactive and committed to achieving goals. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, motivating, and managing the operational team, ensuring the smooth running of both Inbound and Outbound departments.

As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will supervise the application of safety and quality rules and procedures within BDCE, and monitor compliance. You will also challenge the current rules and make the necessary changes to increase BDCE's level of safety and compliance.

What you'll do :

You are responsible for defining a medium-term operational plan in line with BDCE budget limits, in collaboration with the Leadership Team. Your role includes defining the site strategy and representing BDCE in cross-departmental projects.

You will define cost improvement and reduction (VIP) projects and take responsibility for their implementation. You will also work closely with human resources to define the development strategy of your team.

In the event of quality events, such as complaints, you will inform relevant parties immediately and take necessary measures to limit the consequences. You will identify risks and implement ideas for improving and reducing quality risks, define and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.

You will ensure compliance with procedures in accordance with Baxter's laws and rules, enforcing GMP & GDP procedures and rules. You will also ensure the consistency of procedures with operations and implement changes/improvements if necessary.

You will provide the required training for yourself and your team, ensuring the alignment of the level of training with the tasks performed by the operators. You will represent BDCE in the field in case of audits and ensure the follow-up of the points reported.

You will monitor the application of the Leader Standard Work (LSW) of your team and ensure effective control over work equipment, protective equipment, and substances. You will also monitor compliance with rules and procedures and value good practices.

Finally, you will examine accidents and incidents that have occurred in the workplace and propose solutions to avoid them, ensuring the analysis of the root causes.

  • 5- 7 years of experience in the same position
