Position: Key Account Specialist (Acute Therapy)

Responsible Area: Hanoi

Work Office: Baxter Healthcare Hanoi Office

Reporting Manager: Sales Manager, Acute Therapy

Required: Must be graduated in Pharmacy (Pharmacist)

Product: Acute Therapy, CRRT

Target Customer: HCP & HCO e.g. ICU Doctor, Pharmacist, Nurse and Hospital Leader including Pharmacy or Medical Device Department, etc.

Job Scope: Responsible for delivering consistent business growth and achievement of business goal and sales targets in territories assigned by Sales Manager. Collaborate & support local distributor to develop the Acute business in selected territories and achieve yearly business targets whilst ensuring full compliance with local law and Baxter’s Interaction Policy.

Job Descriptions:

Territory Management:

  • Develop relationships with KOLs, key HCPs via scientific communication and educational activities align with Baxter’s policy and compliance.

  • Portfolio reimbursement management at SOH and hospital levels via scientific communication and educational activities.

  • Actively seek, identify, analyse and present new business opportunities and improvement ideas to Sales Manager.

  • Make business plan, follow up execution and tracking and report in weekly, quarterly and Cycle meeting.

  • Implement daily report in Salesforce.com.

  • Monitor competitors’ activities and report to Sales Manager.

Local Distributor Management:

  • Work closely with local distributor team to understand tender process and maximise Baxter’s winning rate.

  • Help develop and implement a plan for each territory

  • Support local distributor team to support enlist new Baxter products in tender list of key hospitals

  • Support local distributor prepare tender documents and ensure that tender documents are submitted in full and on time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Medicine.

  • At least 5 years of healthcare sales experience in international healthcare companies with at least 2 years of experience of managing large hospital accounts and tender management.

  • Pharmacist License (will be Advantage but not mandatory).

  • Excellent personal skills, particularly communication and negotiation skills.

  • Teamwork and collaboration.

  • Dynamic and confident personality.

  • Willingness to travel and work at flexible time.

Key Competencies:

  • Business Results: Support to achieve or exceed territory budget revenue in line with marketing plans.

  • SFE program: 100% compliance with customer relationship management system, account plans and as applicable attend account planning meetings.

  • Ongoing Professional Development (including Acute Fitness). Actively participate and successfully complete (captured in BAXU training) corporate training programs.

  • Execution of Marketing Plan.

  • Gain customer acknowledgment as a partner they can rely on for knowledge, skill and resources.

  • Compliance with internal Baxter SOP’s and compliance regulations.
