Your role:

The Analyst, Benefits – Health & Welfare will provide administrative and analytical support for benefit plans and leave programs for the US and Puerto Rico with possible future expansion to Canada. You will report to the Manager, Benefits, Health & Welfare.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for administration and analysis of employee benefit plans. Specific responsibilities may include: processing vendor payments, supporting annual enrollment and leave of absence administration, maintaining data interface audit reports, maintaining written and online benefit communication content, participant issue resolution and root cause identification, and scorecard analysis
  • Answer escalated employee issues/inquiries or advance appropriately
  • Maintain detailed financial and data records for benefits plans
  • Manage and negotiate with vendors on a day-to-day basis and raise issues appropriately
  • Validate benefits administration data integrity and resolve any issues or bring up appropriately
  • Identify and drive recommendations for process improvements or technology solutions to improve benefits administration service delivery and/or reduce costs
  • Assess and make recommendations based on knowledge of industry standards, competitive landscape, benchmarking data, and service methodologies and models
  • Work with sensitive information confidentially

What you'll bring:

  • Two plus years of HR related experience
  • Ability to operate in global environment
  • Vendor management experience a plus
  • HCM and Kronos experience preferred, but not required

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 to $88,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
