This role provides the chance to create a significant impact on patient care and company growth by working with strategic and large accounts in the Benelux region. What you'll do :

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Manager, you will be essential in driving Baxter's success. You'll develop and implement long-term growth strategies for critical initiatives across multiple divisions. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with strategic accounts, including hospitals and healthcare providers within the Benelux region.
  • Bringing to bear your understanding of healthcare market dynamics and using your network within pharmacy, purchasing departments, and C-level executives to identify and seize opportunities.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of customers, partners, and collaborators to effectively strategize and coordinate opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Leading the preparation and response to tenders by mobilizing cross-functional project teams (BU, support services, FMT, etc.).
  • Identifying and addressing the specific needs of GPOs, and developing a long-term strategy for marketing value-based services, including pricing and risk-sharing agreements.
  • Collaborating with management to complete and implement the annual account plan, while maintaining clear and regular communication regarding account updates and stakes.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (BU, support services, SLT) to develop tailored value propositions that align with customer objectives and drive Baxter's growth.
  • Promptly addressing any concerns customers may have with Baxter solutions, ensuring client happiness in all interactions.
  • Developing strategic customer alliances and advising on the agenda of customer associations (BVZD, VZA, AFPHB), while bringing in market intelligence and trends.
  • Participating in the BeMedTech federation to stay connected to industry decisions and developments.
  • Collaborating with Baxter project teams to construct and optimize IP selling strategies in pharmacy cleanrooms.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and hospital evolutions, and translating these insights into central initiatives that bring value to Baxter.
  • Supporting the development of business models that deliver value to customers.

What you'll bring:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Problem solver with a customer-centric approach to resolving challenges.
  • Charismatic and dynamic, exhibiting strong conviction and energy in interactions.
  • Active listener who adapts communication styles to suit various audiences.
  • Capable of conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses with a strong emphasis on rigor and synthesis.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions.
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medtech industries.
  • Proficient in Dutch, French, and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Successful track record of coordinating long-term, multi-faceted initiatives and excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with C-suite level executives.
  • Familiarity with technology trends, automation, artificial intelligence, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Forward-thinking approach with a strong understanding of digital transformation.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in crafting and delivering persuasive elevator pitches, analyzing complex ecosystems, developing value-based propositions, and delivering impactful presentations and speeches.
  • Negotiation techniques, understanding of the hospital sector and its collaborators, and proficiency in Baxter solutions, particularly in their medical and economic aspects.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience in working with and leading diverse teams across different functions.
  • Ethical conduct, upholding deontological principles, and demonstrating respect for applicable laws and regulations.
