Your role at Baxter

As HR Manager, you will support HR strategy for all Baxter’s Business Units through serving as an HR advisor, collaborating with critical team members, and identifying and delivering high-quality HR solutions. You will support and partner with Commercial, Marketing & Global Functions areas, collaborating with and providing consultative support to senior management, people managers, and employee populations

You will have a significant focus on culture, organizational design, development, and change management; the incumbent should be proficient in these principles. The incumbent should possess business savvy and high degrees of both business and financial competence

What you'll be doing

  • Advise members of the Leadership Team on HR matters in the geographies assigned (Chile, Colombia, and Ecuador)

  • Identify and drive HR initiatives that support business strategies

  • Continually assess the efficiency of the organization’s business model and organization dynamics, and lead efforts to realign/refocus as needed

  • Partner with members both within and across business units

  • Partner with Managers and Employees to cultivate the culture of the best place to work

  • Engage with functional COEs to champion and implement enterprise-wide processes

  • Drive and support talent management initiatives and processes (e.g., organization design, talent planning, development actions, performance management)

  • Mentor and support to Managers around key hiring and headcount-related activities

  • Support manager efficiency actions, mentor, and monthly A.C.E. check-ins

  • Lead annual compensation activities

  • Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies, and processes (e.g., ongoing coordination with COEs on initiatives and communications)

  • Partner with Employee Relations Center of Excellence, support investigations, and provide business perspective, as appropriate

  • Facilitate workshops, as needed

What you'll bring

Minimum Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Master’s degree in an HR subject area preferred

At least 8+ years of HR professional experience that includes at least 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience and as team leader.

Advanced Spanish and English Language Skills

Knowledge in HR management components, including talent acquisition, performance management, development, talent planning, compensation, culture and engagement, change management, organizational design, and inclusion & diversity

Experienced in identifying and implementing HR solutions that support the business in achieving results

Strong HR process orientation, paired with an agile mentality (i.e., not a one-size-fits-all approach)

Experience working with Leadership Team members, People Managers, and employees working in a variety of locations (e.g., field, corporate, global)

Experienced in helping define, translate, and complete an organization’s strategy

Ability to analyze data quickly and thoroughly, and provide actionable business recommendations based on data

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Systems (e.g., WorkDay)

Health Care industry and Commercial Support backgrounds preferred
