Summary:

As an Identity Governance and Administration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity governance solutions within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of the organization's systems and data by managing user identities, access privileges, and permissions effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain identity governance solutions to manage user identities, roles, and access privileges across the organization's systems and applications.

• Develop and enforce access control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and compliance of user access.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective identity and access management solutions.

• Perform access reviews, certifications, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Configure and customize identity governance tools and platforms to meet the specific needs of the organization.

• Monitor and analyze access patterns, user behavior, and security events to detect and mitigate risks related to identity and access management.

• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on identity governance best practices, processes, and technologies.

• Participate in the evaluation and selection of identity governance tools, technologies, and vendors.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and threats in identity and access management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to identity governance for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate identity governance solutions with other security controls and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.

Proven experience (2+ years) in implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions, preferably in large enterprise environments.

In-depth knowledge of identity governance principles, concepts, and best practices.

Hands-on experience with identity governance tools and platforms such as SailPoint, Forefront Identity Manager, Saviynt or similar.

Strong understanding of authentication protocols, directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory), and single sign-on (SSO) technologies.
