Primary Responsibilities

At Baxter Healthcare Corporation, we believe in encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment where every team member plays a crucial role in achieving our mission. As a Warehouse MH - Day Shift, you will be at the core of our operations, ensuring efficient and seamless workflows. This role is crafted for individuals who are ready to take on an ambitious and dynamic position that requires a high level of precision and dedication.

MH Line support

  • Print a picklist at the start of every day to determine daily priorities.
  • Apply GME to identify and retrieve the oldest lot in the racks, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to Mixing and Filling lines.
  • Support sub-assemblies by removing WIP products and providing empty containers as required.
  • Prioritize daily tasks to ensure continuous material supply to all lines and prevent any downtime.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing garbage from mixing areas.

Receiving support

  • Receive all materials into the facility using GME, Coupa, and Maximo systems.
  • Inspect, receive, and label incoming products, ensuring they meet Baxter’s strict quality standards.
  • Once released, place items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Support R&I functions by flipping pallets and preparing samples to ensure flawless accuracy in warehouse operations.

Packing support

Material handlers on all shifts are responsible for:

  • Removing, scanning, and storing all finished goods from Packline#1, Packline#2, and PPB packing.
  • Ensuring products are wrapped safely and securely.
  • Scanning products into the GME system.
  • Operating three machine wrappers and three label applicators with proven efficiency.
  • Delivering skids to the line and loading them into the skid palletizer to maintain a smooth workflow.

Shipping

  • Stage the room for shipping, ensuring the area is prepared for efficient operations.
  • Load trailers and prepare the necessary paperwork for each load.
  • Ensure weights and label quantities are accurate before loading onto trailers.
  • Maintain strong communication with our 3PL to ensure flawless coordination and timely deliveries.

Cycle count

  • Conduct monthly and daily cycle counts as required to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the highest standards of stock management.

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance in previous roles.
  • Ability to apply Baxter's Shared Commitments to achieve world-class performance.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with a team while working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments.
  • Basic level proficiency with GME and DCLINK scanner applications.
  • Experience operating Reach and Counterbalance Trucks is essential.
