Summary of Responsibilities

We need Kiefel Operators who are upbeat and hard-working to join our team part-time on a permanent basis. The job is for our Weekend Night shift at our Alliston facility, with shifts from Friday to Saturday 23:00-11:00 and Saturday to Sunday 23:00-11:00. The starting wage is $19.00/hour with an additional shift premium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate the Kiefel, SAPA, Grinder, and Blender in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform QA inspections and complete documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to support the release of product.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments to produce a quality product in an efficient manner.
  • Use computer systems to enter shop floor data and order necessary raw materials.
  • Maintain all necessary production paperwork, ensuring materials used correspond with Bill of Materials (B.O.M.).
  • Transport raw materials and finished products by applying safe lifting guidelines and using lift devices and material handling equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated good attendance in your current or previous positions.
  • Proven track record of good performance and high-quality work.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical problems.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to be proactive and self-motivated on the job.
  • Demonstrated ability to detail data accurately per CA GPP 80.
  • Must have the ability to comprehend Baxter Specifications / SOPs and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Experience with equipment such as Kiefel machines, SAPA, 4-wheel trolleys, manual jacks, electric hoist, 4-wheel pushcarts, QA tools, and gauges, and computers.
