Your role at Baxter:

As a Sr Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and methods meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our Quality System Regulation, ensuring that every product we produce is detailed and meets our outstanding standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Examinar, diagnosticar y corregir problemas operativos relacionados con los equipos en el proceso de manufactura y áreas de planta, Desarrollar y validar proyectos para mejorar la eficiencia de la máquina de producción.
  • Debe desarrollar detalles de diseño, modificaciones de componentes para máquinas de fabricación. Elaborar o revisar especificaciones de planos de componentes mecánicos y eléctricos de máquinas.
  • Debe diseñarse la secuencia lógica de cualquier controlador programable. En una máquina automatizada nueva debe ser capaz de Diseño de sistemas neumáticos, eléctricos y mecánicos.
  • Debe instalar e integrar máquinas nuevas. Debe asegurar su correcto funcionamiento en cumplimiento con los procedimientos de calidad y fabricación.
  • Debe reparar y proporcionar mantenimiento a equipos y maquinarias mediante la utilización de equipos de prueba sofisticados y manuales especializados.
  • Debe apoyar las líneas de producción para mantener las máquinas y equipos de fabricación funcionando en excelentes condiciones,
  • Desmontar equipos o maquinarias, desconectar controles y retirar piezas defectuosas para su reparación o sustitución y realizar mantenimiento preventivo de acuerdo a las normas establecidas.
  • Debe ser capaz de actualizar equipos en cualquiera de las disciplinas mencionadas.
  • Debe completar la ejecución de la validación en máquinas nuevas o existentes,
  • Preparar documentación de todos los cambios realizados en el equipo, incluidos planos mecánicos y eléctricos.
  • Debe proporcionar capacitación a los operadores y técnicos de máquinas.
  • Proyectos especiales según lo solicite el supervisor.
  • Desarrollar un nuevo programa secuencial de lógica eléctrica y diseño mecánico para cumplir el objetivo en las nuevas máquinas.
  • Documentar manualmente (por ejemplo, diagrama de control) o electrónicamente (por ejemplo, POM) la información requerida para cumplir con los procedimientos y especificaciones aplicables. Esta información incluye, entre otros, parámetros de proceso, lotes, cantidad de producción y otros.
  • Responsable de realizar inspecciones de EHS para identificar y corregir riesgos de seguridad y aspectos ambientales. Seguir los procedimientos de EHS aplicables y analizar los incidentes de EHS (incluidos los cuasi accidentes) para encontrar las causas y tomar medidas correctivas.
  • Trabajo medio: ejercer de 20 a 50 libras de fuerza ocasionalmente, y/o de 10 a 25 libras de fuerza con frecuencia, y/o una fuerza mayor que insignificante de hasta 10 libras de fuerza constantemente para mover objetos. Los requisitos de exigencias físicas son superiores a los del trabajo ligero.

EDUCACIÓN Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachillerato en Tecnología de Ingeniería Electrónica.
  • Debe tener un mínimo de cinco años de experiencia y se requiere un excelente desempeño.

CUALIFICACIONES:

  • Debe estar disponible para trabajar en horarios irregulares. Realizar trabajos en otras plantas o departamentos cuando sea necesario. Debe poder viajar. Exposición a condiciones de área de trabajo de ruido y altas temperaturas. Debe cumplir con los procedimientos de seguridad de la planta, buenas prácticas de fabricación. Trabajar bajo presión de plazos de proyectos. Trabajar con mínima supervisión y autoiniciativa. La persona debe estar preparada para asumir responsabilidades superiores. Altos conocimientos técnicos y un buen desempeño en las siguientes áreas: Branson Ultrasonic Welding, RF Sealing, Uson Leak Tester, FFS Machines, Vision systems, Robotics equipment, PLC Program and Troubleshooting. Conocimiento de software de computadora y controlador programable.

IDIOMA (LENGUA):

  • Capaz de leer, escribir, hablar y comprender inglés a un buen nivel comprensivo.
