 Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with Regional Marketing Western Europe and Cluster/Country Marketers guide, plan, implement and optimize (digital) marketing programs aligned with the overall regional strategy (BaxP) and business priorities. This includes all aspects of upstream and downstream customer-facing engagement.

  • Based on the Regional Marketing plans, implement the business priorities in respective markets discuss branding and marketing issues with country marketers directly, and to advise on how we can help them build strong market positions (strategic planning ~10%).

  • Help country marketers with the tactical digital marketing plan to generate more demand and leads to achieve business goals. Furthermore, guide and support each country marketer to implement the country tactics, delivering compelling and measurable digital marketing programs for our customers. The role should also facilitate and help the Center of Excellence planning with resources to manage localization of regional materials (execution ~70%).

  • Proactively identify, recommend digital marketing opportunities to the regional Acute Therapies marketing team to promote clear prioritization, driving better business results. (optimization ~20%)

  • Ongoing reporting to stakeholders on the performance of country implemented programs, assessed against strategic and operational goals (ROI and KPIs).

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed: Business Unit Heads (Cluster/Country level) and Medical Affairs, Inside Sales Director EMEA.

  • Work closely with our creative, production and CRM teams in the EMEA Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE) to implement a program.

  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

  • Identify digital marketing trends/insights and continuously optimize marketing spend and performance based on those insights.

  • Develops digital marketing awareness for broader team by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

Required education / skills

  • Passionate about digital solutions. You should also have a clear idea of how digital tools add value to company strategy and performance.

  • Solid knowledge of the pharma (medical device) sector.

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital programs that engage, inform, and motivate.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret market research and secondary analysis and translate into actionable tactics.

  • Excellent project management and quantitative skills. Takes ownership of projects and tasks from beginning to end.

  • Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and managing to ambiguity.

  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic with ability to work in fast past environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including presenting concepts and ideas in a clear, succinct, and organized manner.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, foster and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, take direction, receive feedback, and execute accordingly, including ability to handle ambiguity with projects.

  • Strong analytical skills in data management and reporting software/platforms e.g. Tableau, Salesforce, Acoustic etc.

  • Basic knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush etc.

  • Basic knowledge of ad serving/management tools e.g. Facebook Business Manager, Linkedin Business Manager, Instagram, YouTube etc.

  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis

  • Ability to develop and track business metrics and effectively communicate progress and results.

  • Financial planning, strategy and budget optimization acumen.

  • Solid experience (5+ years) from a similar position, preferably from a digital agency and/or from a global/international company in Pharma or Medtech preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, PR or business.
