Summary:
The Senior Demand and Inventory Analyst position is responsible for supporting a variety of processes which include data analytics of demand trends, forecast accuracy and BIAS; monitor backorders evolution; demand vs financial forecast GAP analysis; support data consolidation tasks; formulate and develop new or modified solutions to business issues.

What will you be doing?

• Generating analytics, conclusions and recommendations based on different reports from Tableau, Power BI, Rapid Response, SFDC, JDEdwards, SAP, to support business analytics.

• Identify root causes and key drivers to demand fluctuations, demand trends, forecast accuracy, sales, inventory levels, backorders, financial forecasts.

• Supporting on-demand data consolidation tasks for Growth & Emerging Markets (130+ countries).

• Collaborating to review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and evaluate forecast results to identify areas for improvement as well as potential risks.

• Cooperating with marketing and sales when required to ensure the forecast reflects new product launches as well as changes to existing products.

• Utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach by working with global demand planning team and other stakeholders to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand reports.

• Analysing inventory trend vs financial, Backorder/OTIF vs stock levels, tracking forecast vs sales orders in MTS and MTO business models and prepare data driven analysis and recommendations.

• Tracking and reporting Global Backorder for Growth Emerging Markets, Main Root causes and Get well dates/timeline.

• Tracking Supply and Demand Risk for Growth Emerging Markets and prepare escalation according.

• Consolidating and preparing Global Growth Emerging Market Inventories, excess inventory and variances vs financial forecast commitment.

Who are we looking for?

• 4+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or business intelligence.

• An Analyst with strong mathematical/statistical abilities and quantitative skills with hands-on experience in forecasting, business analytics, simulation tools and inventory management.

• A person with very good business experience in Excel (Tableau or Power BI will be a huge asset) and a high level of communication skills at all organizational levels.

• Team player able to challenge and influence stakeholders with well-organized, clear presentation skills.

• Fluent English speaker.

• In terms of Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Business administration; Supply Chain; Data Analytics or Engineering.
