The Associate Director of Infrastructure and Connectivity is responsible for developing and leading the strategic direction of the Infrastructure and Connectivity portfolios as well as personnel management of expert GSS sales and solutions team members. This requires technical expertise of the operating room and connected ecosystems, schematic room design, and equipment incorporation. The mission of this Associate Director is to drive sales and revenue, collaborate with internal and external partners, and works with Baxter leaders to propel competitive results. Additionally, this role will provide insight and collaborate with Marketing and R&D. This role will report directly to the GSS Head of Sales.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead a high performing team of expert Specialists passionate about Infrastructure and Integration platforms
  • Coach, mentor, recruit, and develop leading talent to accelerate category growth
  • Assist with strategic targeting and quota allocation for scope of business and team
  • Implement the Baxter sales process and methodology
  • Operating Room Workflow Solutions and authority
  • Build and implement strategic plan of rapidly growing the GSS Connectivity business
  • Drive significant growth of GSS Infrastructure and Connectivity portfolio via high level connections and strategies with healthcare leaders
  • Interface and work with CIO’s through all levels of a customer IT department.
  • Apply a consultative approach with healthcare executives to support our long-term vision via key technology assessments and roadmap reviews
  • Empower the GSS Sales organization to expand funnel by supporting all technical product questions during the sales process
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills along with coordination efforts among internal team members across all GSS
  • Collaborate with internal partners in Marketing, R&D and Sales leadership to identity continuous improvement and strategy opportunities
  • Navigate an international Matrix environment

What you'll bring

  • Operating Room Capital Equipment Experience
  • Product / IT authority with strategic sites to build IT references and develop a growing install base for GSS connectivity
  • Be comfortable interfacing and working with CIO’s through all levels of a customer’s IT department
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills along with coordination efforts among internal team members across all GSS
  • High degree of comfort leading group presentations, solution demonstrations and business reviews
  • Strong contract authoring and project delivery skills. Ability to optimally budget for a project and drive profitability
  • Customer service focus with strong communication skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel experience required
  • Auto-CAD experience preferred
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remote covering all of US. Ability to travel 75% as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years operating room Infrastructure (Lights/Booms) and Connectivity experience required. Experience in a combination of broad IT (servers, networks, firewalls, integrations, or security) and/or Healthcare IT eco systems (emphasis of OR integration) is preferred
  • Direct Report team leadership preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $152,000 to $209,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
