As a Quality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance in our production department. You will demonstrate leadership and contribute to Baxter's values, mission, and objectives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing leadership and oversight for the development and coordination of the quality and regulatory strategy for the site.

  • Leading all aspects of product development compliance and responding to regulatory issues.

  • Participating in special projects and initiatives, including handling the customer complaint process.

  • Reviewing and defining business critical operating measures, addressing noncompliance, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

  • Assuring quality metrics are aligned with internal and external regulatory requirements.

  • Driving continuous improvement in supplier performance through various tools and methodologies.

  • Coordinating inspection and testing of products.

  • Leading Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) related to the assigned area.

What you'll need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and/or Engineering role, with a minimum of 5 years in Manufacturing and/or Quality.

  • Experience in the medical device industry or automotive industry, with a strong background in Quality System and process controls.

  • Practical experience in metrology, test, inspection, and analysis techniques.
