The Stockroom Clerk role at Baxter Healthcare Corporation is an outstanding opportunity for ambitious individuals looking to chip in to our mission of delivering best-in-class healthcare solutions. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will play a critical part in ensuring detailed inventory management, which is crucial for the smooth operation of our production processes.

What you'll be doing:

The Stockroom Clerk ensures that quantities are accurate in the inventory database. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow Baxter protocols regarding various inventory transactions (both paper and electronically).
  • Ensure that incoming quantities are accurate and that the proper documentation is present.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage.
  • Ensure that inventory quantities and location reconcile against the inventory database.
  • Perform physical counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory verification.
  • Issue materials to the production floor and complete system transactions in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill orders for Vendors and Service centers.
  • Cross-train in other areas of Materials Management to cover for and assist other positions as needed.

What you'll bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse and/or technical office experience is required.
  • Data entry experience is desirable. Stockroom experience preferred.
  • Well-versed in and knowledgeable about all transaction screens required to perform verifications, corrections, production floor issues, shortages, returns to stock, inter-stock transfers, and service shipments.
  • Demonstrates collaboration and partnership and has the ability to handle often stressful production demands. Excellent social skills with the ability to participate well with other departments.
  • Good judgment, a positive attitude, and a high level of initiative. Ability to differentiate products by applying accurate document/label identifiers.
  • Diligent with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to count accurately and efficiently and identify small components using their markings.
  • Ability to multitask and perform tasks efficiently with little or no supervision.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and computer environments.
  • Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the industry. Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills.
