Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

With minimal guidance, the principal engineer schedules, interfacing with development groups and technical support groups.
Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Supervises / coordinates a Snr Engineer / Engineer and / or coordinator on assigned work.
Ensure that the right choices are being made with regards to material choice, overall set design and supplier selection within the Baxter operation.
Be knowledgeable of various manufacturing processes such as: assembly, extrusion and moulding.
Work towards meeting the intended use of the product in the various countries of sales, as applicable to the project s/he is leading.
Work towards developing/sustaining a product in accordance with Baxter’s defined Quality and Regulatory standards.
Be responsible for finalizing any reports/presentations related to his projects and any other necessary reports as the need arises.
Be responsible for the assignment of project activities within his/her project team, to meet committed milestones and project objectives.
Design Verification and Validation are to be carried out in accordance with ISO Standards, CE Norms, FDA, country specific norms and Baxter’s Quality Manual.
Design Verification Testing is to be planned/executed based upon knowledge of materials, fluid dynamics and correct usage/applicability of available equipment.
Able to work with the Project Management Office (PMO), to plan out resources, budget, timelines throughout the project development lifecycle.
Able to present the work achieved by his/her team to different stakeholders (as applicable)
Design with manufacturability in mind; leading his/her team through various development activities that would eventually allow a smooth design transfer to manufacturing.
PDO Role: The Product Design Owner (PDO) is responsible for the oversight of ongoing changes to the product, assessing their impact on the final product code, and ensuring necessary actions are taken to maintain product quality and safety for customers. Additionally, the PDO plays a crucial role in creating and supporting product designs and upgrading of the product portfolio that align with the ever-evolving needs and preferences of consumers.
PRMO Role: The Product Risk Management Owner (PRMO) is responsible for minimizing risks associated with the product by implementing effective mitigation strategies and maintaining comprehensive risk documentation. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safety of the product throughout its lifecycle by identifying potential risks and proactively addressing them through well-defined mitigation measures.

Education and/or Experience:

5 – 7 years of Experience, with Field of Expertise in Technical Management, Project Management, Leadership

Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €36,800.00 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
