The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving home therapy Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) Nordic local market access function supporting the future Vantive vision Extending lives, Expanding possibilities.

You will be creating a favorable Home Therapy environment to drive expanded PD access for patients to our products, therapies and services, aligned with short- and long-term commercial targets. You will identify PD growth opportunities and influence the decision makers so that the reimbursement system favors PD with relevant activities.

This is a field based role with occasional office presence.

What you'll be doing

  • Strategic external engagement with government stakeholders, payers, patients, professional and associations to shape legislation, policy adoption and healthcare priorities for PD
  • Monitor and work for establishing a national or regional home therapy policy & targtes
  • Payer engagement and evidence-based value demonstration to support reimbursement for PD
  • Building network of key institutional stakeholders and with other relevant patient and professional organizations
  • Drive PR activities and awareness for PD
  • Be a point of contact for internal stakeholders on country policy, legislation and health system inquiries
  • Ensure effective collaboration and exchange with sales and marketing

What you'll bring

Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of Nordic ESRD market dynamics, policies and reimbursement system
  • Being able to focus and execute on evidence-based value demonstration
  • Business acumen, can do attitude, pioneering, courage
  • Analytical skills – ability to simplify complex analytical concepts
  • Excellent cooperation skills and ability to build network
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Comply with regulations and standards to protect Vantive public reputation

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Life Science, Commercial, Economical)
  • Minimum 3+ years of Advocacy experience in a similar role
  • Experience of driving PR activities and awareness in healthcare
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Preferable proven experience of Nordic countries health care systems
  • One Scandinavian language – Swedish, Danish or Norwegian as well as  strong English language
