Your Role at Baxter

Main objective of the position:

This position will be part of a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and acts as an extension of the local country FP&A team. This role interacts with the Kidney Care FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team as well as in-country finance and business partners within Global FP&A. This position will support monthly performance reviews, and quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting and the long range plan. In addition, it will support value-added business analytics, operational improvement projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate closely with local country business partners and finance teams to prepare and review projections, budgets and historical results, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost center owners.
  • Load P&L and forecast adjustments into the financial planning system for the relevant country/ business.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, financial reviews, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation.
  • Partner with Regional, Local, and Corporate FP&A resources, within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations, to understand, drive and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objective and raising relevant issues.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis to facilitate business decision making.
  • Update operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed.
  • This position will support the Kidney team interacting with multiple levels of the organization.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required.
  • Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 1-2 years of proven experience with financial planning and reporting.
  • Fully bilingual (English) as a requirement.
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and JDE preferred.
