Your role at Baxter

As the Senior Program Manager, you will provide business and technical leadership for major, high-complexity programs within Integrated Supply Chain, leading program/project teams through the prioritization, initiation, development, and implementation processes. You will assist in building cases leading to CER approval, while collaborating with Operations sites around the world and interact with and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

  • Accountable for project/program team performance, program schedule and execution, budget commitments and spend.
  • Interacts through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and customers.
  • Ensures proactive identification and communication of project risks, development of risk plan and proactive management of risk response strategies.
  • Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and leads conflict situations to result in good outcomes.
  • Enhances business results through continuous improvement in organization's ability to implement programs from identification through implementation.
  • Conflict Resolution - Anticipates difficult situations and guides the team to proactive business solutions resulting in effective and agreed upon outcomes.
  • May lead all ISC activities for acquisition integration projects ensuring value targets are realized.
  • Support ISC strategy deployment process, from Hoshin planning to A3 execution.
  • Some travel required.

What you’ll bring

  • MBA/MS or bachelor’s degree required. Seven years of complex project/program management experience with shown success leading multi-site, global or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products industry. Experience working in an operations functional area or site is preferred.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices and Product Development Process requirements.
  • Expertise in all aspects of program management.
  • Proven track record to supervise and develop others.
  • PMI or IPMA or equivalent certification desired.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 - $176,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
