Production Technician II
Job Duties:
Must communicate effectively with department employees, management, and maintenance.
Operate assembly equipment in Device departments.
Set-up machine parameters per operating procedures.
Perform line clearance, quality checks, and required mechanical adjustments to machine.
Responsible for making sure raw materials, printing and packaging materials are ready for production.
Challenge vision system, USON Tester, Welders, and Silicon system per operating procedures.
Use blueprints, specifications, Bill of Materials, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product or process acceptability.
Must be able to utilize Enhanced Assemble Pack (EAP) and complete other batch documentation with minimal errors.
Report abnormalities and corrective action to supervision.
Troubleshoot equipment and make required adjustments/minor equipment repairs as needed. Perform light maintenance duties related to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Stack-off master cartons and move finished goods with forklift.
Comply with Good Documentation Practices.
Participate in and complete all required training. Participate in the training of new personnel.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
Maintain good housekeeping in the working area and lead 6S responsibilities as assigned.
Must perform and document all daily, weekly, and monthly required cleanings.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls a plus.
Capability to comprehend and interpret computer control documents and specifications. Computer proficient and ability to use software applications.
Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
Able to complete documentation legibly.
Ability to operate forklift.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Low absenteeism.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.
Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to maneuver up to 100 pounds.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.To that end, this position has a salary range of $42,000.00 to $48,500.00. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position.The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
