SUMMARY:

The figure of Software Developer Specialist in the Technical Office deals with all the aspects related to machine programming with industrial PLC or PC based software. He/she works in collaboration with mechanical and electrical designer to complete the machine design, using proven technologies and innovation tools (as digital twin software)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Hardware and software management for industrial automation;
  • Design, development, test and integration of software for PLC (Rockwell & Siemens, mainly),  
  • Scada and any HMI with customization for costumers.
  • Configuration and management of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Ethercat...)
  • Management of an automated robot-based system and interface with peripheral devices;
  • Start up and test of automation systems, initial training and on-site support during system start-up;
  • Troubleshooting related to automation, analysis and improvement of existing process.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Degree in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering or Biomedical Engineering or related field;
  • Previous relevant experience in similar activities;
  • Previous experience in automation industries
  • Language skills: Italian and English, B2 as minimum 
  • Knowledge of machine servomotor based; able to manage electronical cams;
  • Able to understand automation electrical and pneumatic design;
  • Knowledge of CFR21 part 11 requirements;
  • Knowledge of industrial vision system;
  • Knowledge of Robot software suite (i.e. Staubli, ABB, Fanuc);
  • Ability to work in team as well with mechanical & electrical designers and technician teams;
  • Very good communication skills.
