Job Summary

Baxter provides a broad portfolio of essential renal and hospital products, including home; sterile IV solutions; infusion systems and devices; parenteral nutrition; surgery products and anesthetics; and pharmacy automation, software and services. You will be responsible for the developing solutions to drive product development for new and existing components of the Medication delivery portfolio. The successful candidate will possess solid “hands-on” technical abilities, demonstrate excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the development and refinement of test strategies, designs, and execution plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Provide expert guidance on testing requirements, strategy, and best practices to software developers, testers, and suppliers
  • Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of comprehensive product test cases and test plans
  • Oversee system integration activities to ensure seamless validation and minimize issues
  • Develop and maintain traceability matrices from requirements to verification activities and design entities
  • Foster effective working relationships with internal and external development partners
  • Define, communicate, and execute test strategies to ensure product quality and delivery excellence
  • Lead and collaborate with verification teams to drive continuous improvements in test execution, quality, and delivery
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in web applications automation testing using C#/Selenium/Rest API
  • Proven track record of formulating and implementing test strategies, managing test plans, and testing methodologies for software projects
  • Expertise in developing test designs, architectures, and test cases at all levels
  • Experience in test automation, test processes, and ensuring repeatable and reliable automated test suites and frameworks
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to enhance testing of applications
  • Responsibility for the complete software test cycle: planning, specification, execution, reporting, and tracking
  • Experience testing software that controls hardware, especially instrumentation and motion
Background and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of related experience in software testing and automation
Desired Characteristics:
  • Expert-level hands-on experience with C#/.NET framework
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Selenium automation
  • Experience in test automation and framework development
  • Hands-on experience with software enterprise application development
  • Exposure to ALM tools, JIRA, Bitbucket, and version control systems
  • In-depth knowledge of medical device software development, including standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior team members
