Summary

The Technology Delivery and Operations, Segment IT Leader is accountable for the delivery of all Segment-based applications that enable our Segment teams to grow their market while meeting their profitability objectives. In this leadership role, you will manage a mixed model of internal resources and external partners to support as well as create new applications to maintain and grow our business.

The Leader will be responsible for differentiating the capabilities of a Segment across different domains such as sales, marketing, service, manufacturing, digital product platforms, and other functions as the need arises for differentiation in a given Segment.

The role is a part of the Segment IT leadership team and will be a peer to Segment business relationship manager and our Segment solution and product management team, while working with corporate IT functions that own enterprise platforms and applications.

The role will need to help bring balance by ensuring that we apply Segment-specific development only when delivering Segment-specific and differentiating capabilities while advocating for enterprise products and platforms when differentiation doesn’t create business value.

What will you be doing?

  • Being accountable for the delivery of Segment capabilities not part of the product portfolio or enterprise platforms and applications.

  • Managing budget of all Segment-based projects and application support for Segment applications not handled as a platform service or enterprise application.

  • Optimizing the delivery model for new development in the Segment, owning the solution design and architecture for all Segment-specific applications.

  • Constantly pursuing the rationalization of applications with redundant capabilities and finding the right balance of Segment application needs versus features in global products and platforms, working across Segment product owners and enterprise technology leaders to make that determination.

  • Working with the centralized IT-sponsored strategic vendor management team to provide constant input into vendor reviews and strategic vendor discussions to optimize the value we receive from our primary vendor relationships.

  • Influencing our operational and QBR meetings with our primary support partner.

  • Being accountable for the relationships of our software vendors and secondary managed service providers not managed centrally that are particular to the assigned Segment.

  • Rationalizing the technology needs across various Strategic Business Units, digital products, and manufacturing sites to eliminate duplicity and complexity in delivery.

  • Leading a team of internal and external resources in support of the above activities.

Who are we looking for?

  • Leader with 10+ years of experience in leading third-party IT providers, managing prior +$2 million/year capital products/projects.

  • A person with technical savvy to convey and collaborate around the development of the desired functionality, particularly with cloud applications.

  • Strong understanding and working experience with the Agile approach and culture, ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment and excellent customer-facing written and oral communications skills.

  • Ability and maturity to communicate and manage stakeholders up to the highest levels of the organization globally, regionally and locally

  • Understanding of regulations to consider in the life sciences industry (quality, security, data privacy).

  • Demonstrated understanding of functional capabilities such as commercial enablement and manufacturing execution systems.

  • Excellent Functional Process Knowledge/Eye For Business for their subject matter area.

  • In terms of education: Bachelor’s degree.

What we offer:

  • Probation period of 3 months and then for an indefinite period.

  • Competitive salary, annual bonuses, recognition award program.

  • Corporate culture based on our values: collaboration, speed, courage and simplicity.

  • Possibilities for development on a personal and professional level in one of the leading global MedTech companies.

  • Package of benefits including Private medical care (Lux Med), Life Insurance, and Multisport card.

  • Bax4U - cafeteria/lunch cards (300 PLN monthly).

  • PPE program with very attractive conditions available for each employee after 3 months.

  • Fully covered language courses (English or other languages according to business needs).

  • Co-financing of holidays and an additional 2 days off from work annually and an extra day off for your birthday!

  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

  • Great Warsaw office location - Powiśle!
