Senior Analyst, Fulfillment Strategy & Solutions GEM - META & CEEI

Position Objective:

This role is a key change agent for optimization initiatives across the End-to-End Supply Chain. The individual will be responsible for providing direction and expertise to the assigned Market(s) Fulfilment team, primarily in areas of Warehousing and local and International Transportation, to enable the Market(s) to drive improvement in achieving better operational profitability ($), efficiency and increased agility. This role will also lead, develop, implement, and supervise the continuous improvement programs, innovation, and strategic initiatives and support the Market’s Key Performance Indicators (meaningful metrics) development, rollout, and governance and provide Analytics support to identify & pinpoint key focus areas for the Fulfilment organization.

What you'll be doing:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Site Strategic Improvement Plan (SSIP) development considering an E2E vision across the market(s) assigned and by the Global Regional Hoshin Plan
  • Implement and lead operational excellence mechanisms and innovative dynamics based on the Baxter Operating System and identified in SSIP as a priority.
  • Implement and run Lean & Six Sigma programs including training, strategies, and tools for continuous improvement.
  • Create, maintain, and govern Fulfilment team process control dynamics (including important metric dashboards) by building an understanding of all Planning & Fulfillment metrics and success measures to drive operational and business performance.
  • Work with department managers to create functionally owned team important metric dashboards and improve data management processes with data integrity and compliance in mind.
  • Provide coaching and mentor support to fulfillment team members in enabling effective operational performance management as appropriate to their roles and support the market in driving accountability/governance processes to improve operational performance.
  • Ownership of Data Analytics to: Identify trends, risks, and focus areas, Identify and support projects & continuous improvement initiatives. Engage teams in the management of their performance vs business objectives. Regular review of performance gaps and action plans.
  • Work with regional partners to ensure Global and Regional scorecards represent accurate monthly Fulfillment performance.
  • Govern and drive SC Margin Improvement Program (MIPs) including customer concern of risks to pipeline and ensuring project owners are assigned and held accountable.
  • Present opportunities for efficiency gain (Process Improvement) to the fulfillment leader (s) and market Planning & Fulfillment team and support the market in driving continuous improvement projects where appropriately assigned.
  • Provide support to the markets’ improvement projects pipeline to minimize and reduce Fulfillment costs as a % of net sales assigned.
  • Support market(s) in the deployment of Regional strategic/transformation projects assigned from Global/Region.
  • Able to provide, present, and articulate a deep level of understanding to the market(s) challenges, opportunity areas, and key focus areas, and support the regional Fulfillment Director in its governance model execution.
  • Support Finance ISC COE colleagues to develop and implement robust financial budgeting and management processes, e.g. MOR, Long Range Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Work with IT groups to identify and bring to bear available digital platforms for visual performance tracking (e.g Tableau, SalesForce, etc).
  • Implement and manage recognition schemes to encourage the Fulfillment team to support and actively promote a continuous improvement and innovation culture contributing to achieving the best place to work.

What are we looking for? Qualifications, Experience & Skills 

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering

Experience

  • Proven experience in a data-driven insight (analytics) and process optimization role.( years)
  • Working knowledge of strategy deployment, performance measures, and financial/supply chain platforms.
  • Experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and International Freight improvement projects.
  • Experience in engagement with 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Experience in corporate business environments and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in English Language

Skills/Technical

  • Strong experience with process flow re-design, mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
  • xperience with root cause and problem-solving tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt certification (desired).
  • Financial Acuity (Resourceful)
  • Intermediate-to-Advance Excel skills
  • Critical Thinking (Expertise)

Key Relationships & Stakeholders 

Internal: ISC – within Country/Cluster, Regional and Global, Finance, IT, QA / RA, Commercial

External: Liaison with external stakeholders as the need arises such as but not limited to logistics service providers.
