Head of Marketing CEE&I

The main responsibility of this role will be to develop and execute short-term and long-term marketing strategies for the CEE&I cluster, across all product groups. The senior Marketing Manager will integrate marketing teams from all sub-clusters and business areas, pushing for synergies and marketing excellence driving business growth across geographies. The role will also be responsible for mentorship and improving marketing competencies in all teams by sharing knowledge and building networks and project teams. The person in this role will sit in the CEEI leadership team and will report directly to the General Manager of the CEEI Cluster

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for building (in close collaboration with Cluster Heads and Business Unit Heads) short and long-term marketing strategies for all product lines and across the cluster.
  • Work closely with all marketing teams across the cluster to build a common vision and best practice-sharing approach.
  • Overlook the execution of marketing plans (coordinate the localization and execution of the marketing strategy in individual countries in close collaboration with Product Managers and appropriate functions (in-country marketing activities include physical events and digital campaigns)
  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of the marketing campaigns.
  • Support, together with Commercial Leaders, main distributors regarding marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and harmonize the approach to product training for commercial teams in cooperation with the medical department and team leaders.
  • Work closely with all Product Managers across the CEEI cluster, help them to develop their marketing skills, and help their direct supervisors to assess development needs and prepare development programs.
  • Effectively collaborate with the sales team and cross-functional collaborators for agreement of strategies to internal customers and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies.
  • Help to develop strong relationships with KOLs and key accounts to maintain professional working relationships with key partners and decision-makers.
  • Advise on competitive products and services to contribute to strategies for defending and growing market penetration.

What are we looking for?

​Education:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, and Health Sciences (MBA in Sales and Marketing is a plus)

Experience:

  • Pharmaceutical/medical devices brand management experience of at least 5 years 
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical development process and healthcare system, as well as a detailed understanding of marketing business processes, markets and stakeholders, and competitive dynamics
  • Exposure to leading Key Accounts / partnering for Key Opinion Leaders
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience in leading new launches
  • Proven track record working in global and/or regional environments preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient and fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Driving license and driving experience.
  • Travel may be required (approx. 25%).
