Summary

We are a leading company in the healthcare sector, seeking an experienced and dedicated Machine Learning Engineer. Our focus is on leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and machine learning models to revolutionize the medical device landscape. The successful candidate will possess expertise in areas such as Generative AI , Time Series Forecasting, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recommender Systems, Anomaly Detection, Data Mining, SQL, and Cloud Computing.

Responsibilities

• Large Language Models: Develop applications using large language models like GPT3.5/4 and LLAMA2 to extract insights and create multi-step agents to automate processes. 

• Time Series Forecasting: Utilize machine learning techniques to create models that can predict future trends based on historical healthcare data. 

• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Implement NLP techniques to analyze and interpret complex medical text data. 

• Automate Experiments for End2End solutions: Designing Data Pipelines, Modeling Pipelines, Inference pipelines.  Orchestrating the entire lifecycle of machine learning projects.  Knowledge in the management and administration of various MLOPS/DEVOPS tools like Jenkins, pyServer, Kubernetes charts, MLFlow, MetaFlow, Jupyterhub.

• Publish Inference Endpoints for consumers. Ability to design solutions to deploy ML Solutions in Batch or Interactive ways. 

• Recommender Systems: Design and develop personalized recommendation algorithms to optimize device usage and enhance patient care. 

• Anomaly Detection: Create models capable of identifying unusual patterns or outliers in healthcare data to enhance early detection of potential health risks. 

• Data Mining and SQL: Extract and analyze data from various sources using advanced data mining techniques and SQL. 

• UI/UX Development: Work in collaboration with the UI/UX team to integrate machine learning models into the user interface of our medical devices, ensuring a seamless user experience. 

• Cloud Computing: Use cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for model training, deployment, and scaling. 

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare sector regulations in all machine learning solutions, maintaining rigorous documentation and validation as required. 

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the aforementioned areas, particularly in Large Language Models, Time Series Forecasting, NLP, Recommender Systems, Anomaly Detection, Data Mining, SQL, UX prototyping (Streamlit, Gradio) and Cloud Computing. 

• Good understating of DevOps, cloud computing, bash scripting, Kubernetes and Jenkins is a must. 

• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. 

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector and a solid understanding of its regulatory landscape is a plus.

• Strong skills in data analysis and visualization is a must.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

• Knowledge of privacy and security standards in the healthcare sector would be a significant plus. 

• Fluent English is a must.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Ph.D. would be advantageous. 

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working with business leadership in creating measured value of IT investment.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial technologies supporting capabilities such as marketing enablement, sales enablement, contracting, customer experience, etc.

• 3+ years of experience in life sciences is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in building cases (costs, benefits, assumptions).

• Prior experience working in a highly matrixed, large organization preferred.
