Job Summary:
- The primary focus of this role will be to develop and execute the regional education program for Advanced Surgery across the Asia Pacific. Work proactively and directly with the country marketing team to identify segment specific marketing needs, be an expert and trusted resource for the defined product portfolio to achieve objectives
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Gain in-depth understanding of market potential and segment-specific customer needs in APAC markets; Lead innovation and regional marketing programs/campaigns from concept to execution and measurement to drive H&S market development in core specialties. Eg. SurgeX or Regional Specialty program
- Work with key opinion leaders to develop marketing tools and resources to support in-region H&S market development.
- Partner with global marketing organization to feed needs for product lifecycle management and roll out global marketing campaigns.
- Promote country best practice and scale up if possible; develop content for marketing communications
- Constructively collaborate and influence country marketing teams across APAC to build appropriate GTM strategy by country.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs, expertly estimate market size, and develop competitive strategies
- Develop and validate product’s value proposition by segment and ideal messaging approach through market research, advisory board, and customer engagement
- Identify current and future market needs and understand direct and indirect competition
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and industry organizations
- Any assignments for development
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred in order to quickly understand, digest, and present complex technical principles
- 8 to 12 years professional experience in advertising and/or marketing, preferably medical devices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) relevant project information to clients, superiors, and internal customers and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
- Mastery of Internet, Intranet, MS Office products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Recognized marketing talent with an entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable in a fast-paced, virtual team environment. Result-oriented with attention to details
- Proven ability to influence others, in other functions, and in more senior positions
- Strong relationship management and project management skills; the ability to successfully drive multiple tasks
- Resourceful team player and a “can-do” attitude who can participate in and lead efforts across disciplines and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills including ability to gather information, synthetize, evaluate, and derive insight. Eg: market trend analysis and market sizing exercise
- Expert marketing messaging and writing skills
- Therapy knowledge in NeuroSpine, CVS, GS or Gyne is a plus
- Ability to travel ~30% of the time or when required
