Summary:

• Take the lead to promote a favourable policy / legislative environment with various stakeholders including Government officials, policy makers, professionals and patient group.
• Work with the commercial team to ensure the full integration of market access strategy and execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and engage strong professional relationships with key influential legislators, government officials and healthcare professionals who have significant input and impact to Baxter business.
• Build and lead cross-functional strategic policy committees to develop and implement impactful state market access initiatives and lobbying campaigns.
• Develop annual & long-term strategic plans and projects that support the value preposition, marketing and market access in Taiwan.
• Actively involve in marketing strategy development and provide sufficient insights to optimize business opportunities.
• Engage with payers and key decision makers to deliver value prepositions timely
• Understand the payer funding process & P&R process & provide insight to internal stakeholders.
• Provide P&R pricing & market issue & work together with government affairs to generate potential recommendations

Qualifications

•  Knowledge in Taiwan healthcare system and national reimbursement environment; strong experience in government advocacy is preferred.
• Strategic thinking, ability to formulate and implement strategies
• Embrace challenges with tenacity
• Strong interpersonal skills, judgment and political acumen.
• Proficient reading, speaking, and writing skills in English and Chinese
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and execute collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
• With minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device industry, at least 3 years’ market access related experience
• BS degree and advanced degree preferred in law, public administration, healthcare economics, business, public health administration, public policy, or other related field.
• Experience successfully building and leading cross-functional teams and projects.
