Summary:
The Manager, Labeling Systems and Innovations is responsible for the systems that provide specific functionality required by Baxter’s Global Labeling Operations department within Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), including analysis and metrics on operations performance.  This role also manages the evaluation of new functionality to existing systems and new applications.   For IT applications, this individual interfaces with Global IT to communicate user requirements and manage both user testing and training for the Global Labeling Operations Department.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and provides analysis and reporting for Global Labeling Operations to manage systems, databases, processes, and resources.

• Design, develop and manage reporting mechanisms for stakeholders and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

• Serves as Business Process Owner for labeling specific applications and systems.

• Interfaces with Global IT to communicate user requirements and manage user testing and training for solutions.

• Develops and delivers training to Global Labeling Operations on labeling specific solutions

• Manages structure and permission of department SharePoint and Labeling Innovations Teams sites

• Evaluates existing or proposed systems, structure, and user access to databases.

• Analyzes application and database requirements of the users, applications, programming, and operations.

• Submits recommendations for labeling solutions including definition of the physical structure and functional capabilities of databases and required data security, backup, and recovery specifications.

• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

• Strong analytical and information gathering skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English.

• Ability to solicit, and accept, feedback and information from others in an open environment.

• Experience gathering and documenting requirement, evaluating functional specifications, creating and executing various levels of testing required to deploy applications and systems.

• Tableau and/or PowerBI creation and maintenance experience a plus.

• Experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical labeling processes and systems a plus.

Education:

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor level degree in related field, including IT, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, preferred and 5+ years of experience in systems/database business process management or related field, 2+ years project management and/or staff management experience.

• Bachelor level degree in non-related field and 7+ years of experience in systems/database business process management or related field. 2+ years project management leading global cross functional teams and/or staff management experience.
