Multi Skilled Operator Part -Time, night/Weekend Shift, 12 month fixed term contract

The Role

Currently, we are seeking Machine Operator for our Manufacturing site at Old Toongabbie.  The primary function of a Machine Operator is to ensure optimum quality and quantity of the machine’s output and to ensure that machine downtime is kept to a minimum through basic machine maintenance.  Other key responsibilities of the role will include; operating the machine, checking product quality, performing machine adjustments and assisting with repairs on the machine in the event of a breakdown.

You’ll earn above award remuneration and be provided with all the training required to be successful in this role.  The ordinary hours of work are based on one weekend shift of 12 hours’ duration (Friday 11pm – Saturday 11am).

What you will need:

• Mechanically and mathematically oriented, having completed Year 12 mathematics at a minimum

Competencies:

• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to be involved in, and work in a close team environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Proven ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work overtime if required
