Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to work for our high performing Compounding business supporting the UK&I.

Project Support for Mercury, which is a global compounding system, anticipated to be done on a rolling basis across the globe whilst maintain normal operations. A critical element contributing to the success of this program will be the stock management elements associated with the Mercury interfacing JD Edwards System.

With the implementation of a Global Manufacturing System Mercury, a centralized inventory controller is required to support: As Inventory Subject Matter Expert you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory management for the UKI. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve inventory reporting and forecasting accuracy.

The successful candidate will work closely within compounding Operations and commercial teams to ensure that month-end results are aligned with company goals.

Collaboration with Global Inventory Controller groups to implement alignment and standardisation initiatives for Baxter Global Compounding’.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy in all aspects of reporting for Month End, Forecast and Budget.

  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving through fact-based analytics, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and changing priorities without supervision.

  • Operates proficiently in a team environment.

  • Adopts change, challenges the status quo, and makes recommendations for improvements to processes.

  • Creates tools that help simplify job tasks and shares these amongst team members.

  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, verbally (face to face and virtual) and written.

  • Capable of translating complex supply chain challenges into simple communication understood by our partners.

Qualifications and Experience

Extensive experience in inventory management including project management and coordination across multiple functions.

Expertise in inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and SIOP processes.

Background in Finance, Supply Chain or Business administration.

Technical system skills (Microsoft Office, ACCESS, Tableau).

Experience of JDE/Merlin/Mecury
