Your role at Baxter:
As Account Manager/Sales Rep. you are responsible for managing a portfolio of Baxter Products for our Advanced Surgery Business within London - Covering East and central London Hospitals - City of London & East London (Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Havering). Accountable for delivering on sales and profit targets, as well as providing a high level of support and service to our NHS and Private Healthcare customers.
The ideal location will be around Chelmsford or in the Essex area however, any location within patch will be manageable.
What are your responsibilities?
- Achieve agreed sales and financial targets in line with objectives for the geographical / business / assigned area of responsibility.
- Presenting clinical, financial and value-based solutions to key decision makers within the Healthcare sector using an omni-channel approach.
- Train and educate Healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate and effective use of Baxter Products to ensure optimum patient outcomes.
- Develop, implement and review territory business plans that are aligned to a National strategy, as well as the ability to identify and act upon local opportunities.
- Portfolio sell to enhance growth opportunities and position appropriate clinical choice for our customers.
- Developing collaborative relationships to defend existing business base, via customer support, service and differentiating solutions clinically and financially versus the competition.
- Individual and group selling skills, as well effectively navigating a variety of customer types through the sales cycle.
- Sales data and market analyses to inform activity and ensure a focused and results driven return on time.
- Contribute to the tender management process, including pre-tender focused activity, tender submission and post-tender follow up.
- Regular interaction with local and National team/peer group to continually drive a culture of collaboration, support and sharing best practice.
- Flexible approach to thrive in a constantly changing external environment, as well as adapting to evolving internal business priorities.
- The use of CRM system to support planning, sequential selling and territory analyses.
We're looking for someone;
- Strong business acuity to support our business's continued growth.
- Demonstrate the ability to sell a wide and sophisticated product line whilst implementing appropriate prospecting strategies.
- Committed with unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.
- A proven “can do” attitude and sales knowledge which will aid in developing contacts, allowing you to introduce new products and work optimally to develop strategies.
- Has an appreciation for the sophisticated medical market and curiosity about developing trends and initiatives in the UK.
Education and experience:
- Ideally, you will have minim
- Established record of delivering sales goals or quotas (several years at or above quota)
- Knowledge of tendering / leasing is an advantage
- Proven selling skills in a direct sales environment preferably within Operating Theatre’s.
- ABPI desirable
