Your Role at Baxter

Baxter Canada’s Connected Care division is seeking a Marketing Manager to assist in the management of downstream marketing activities with a focus on the Nurse Call, Real Time Location Services and Mobile Communications and respiratory health product categories. As a downstream leader who will be developing and driving product launch, go-to-market and commercial strategies that deliver product line growth. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating highly effective campaigns, programs and messaging. You will also be technically savvy, collaborative with cross-functional peers, and a strong partner to the Sales team.

What you'll be doing
Educate your Sales team on product line positioning, targeting, competitive tactics and market intelligence to support achievement of annual financial goals
Be an internal subject matter expert for Nurse Call, Mobile Communications and Respiratory Health including market trends, voice of customer and competitive activity
Manage product demo kits and equipment
Working with the Digital Health Executive(s), Legal, Contract Management and RFP Coordinators, take a leading role in the coordination of RFP/Tender responses across Canada for Nurse Call, Mobile and RTLS tenders
Support customer interactions such as site visits, presentations / demos, and tradeshows
Develop customer relationships to create reference material, such as testimonials and case studies
Support a Pan-Baxter approach by working with internal business partners to understand how Baxter solutions across portfolios can be positioned to support customers’ clinical, digital health and business goals
Working with Connected Care leadership, find opportunities for Baxter to work with technology partners that integrate with or enhance Baxter’s Clinical Communication and Collaboration Platforms and other Connected Care products
Evaluate sales channel optimization opportunities
Support in the acquisition and ongoing management of valuable partners such as regionally based installers and service providers
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT or related field
5+ years’ professional experience in marketing B2B health IT, medical device or software solutions
Familiarity with core hospital information systems and technologies (EMR/EHR, Middleware, network infrastructure, security and building management systems)
Experience as a player-coach marketing leader
Designing and implementing digital marketing campaigns
Experience launching software solutions for the healthcare environment
Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and find creative, innovative solutions to business challenges
Computer savvy, experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.com preferred
Familiarity with nurse call and mobile applications for healthcare providers preferred
